everybody teacher /// everybody student

working in these roles and learning from these souls has been one of the joys of my life

 Marpha Foundation

In the Spring of 2019, I spent 4 months in rural Nepal as a Kindergarten Creative Studio Fellow with the Marpha Foundation.

Working closely with some amazing local teachers, I designed and taught a daily curriculum for 2-5 year olds, as well as led weekly art classes for young monks from the town monastery.

 Murals on the Move

From 2017-2018, I was the Lead Teaching Artist and Driver for this startup mobile experience through Mural Arts Philadelphia.

Run in collaboration with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, this program offered pop-up classes at rec centers, playgrounds, and community events around the city.

I designed and led creative activities for groups of 5-10 year old students in after-school programs and summer camps.

 Trash Academy

In the Summer of 2018, I was an Assistant Teaching Artist with Mural Arts Philadelphia’s Trash Academy.

This initiative works with students and communities throughout the city to spread awareness about local waste and environmental justice.

 Artrepreneurs

In the Winter/Spring of 2017, I was an Assistant Teaching Artist with Mural Arts Philadelphia’s Artrepreneurs program.

This after-school experience provided students access to a safe studio space to learn graphic design, embroidery, and screen -printing in pursuit of launching their own creative businesses.

I’m currently teaching glass mosaic workshops with Macie Art Glass.
